We welcome you and we thank you for taking the time to discover the refreshing difference at Calvary! Our mission statement as a church family is: "to love and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ through Biblical worship, evangelism and ministry to our community and surrounding area." In all of our ministries and activities we seek to know Jesus better and make Him known to others.

We are a community of believers who love Jesus and His Word. We are a family who love each other and when we meet to worship our Lord Jesus together, we are home. If you are looking for a church home that is Christ centered, Christ focused, joy-filled and love-filled, then you are home. We are Biblically conservative and we affiliate with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Baptist General Convention of Texas.

 One person who recently joined our church commented, "When I came back to Calvary, I couldn't believe it! There is such a loving, joyful, exciting presence of God that fills the place! It seems like there are shining lights that fill the chapel. The presence of Jesus is awesome. My family just loves the entire service!"

We give all the glory to Jesus for all He is doing to abundantly bless our church and lives! We offer two great worship services. Our Traditional Sunday Worship Service begins at 8:15 am (with traditional hymns, organ, piano, antique wooden sculptured pulpit). Then at 10:45 am we have our Sunday Contemporary Worship Service (we sing only contemporary Christian praise songs, we use the keyboard, guitars, drums and praise team). 

Please join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 6:00 pm. We will have one combined, blended worship service at 10:45 am on Christmas Sunday, December 25, 2011. There will be no Bible study classes on Christmas morning. 

Every sermon that is preached is biblical, conservative, meaningful and relevant, to both Christians and seekers. We believe that you will find our entire worship service enjoyable and uplifting. We meet for Bible study between services at 9:30 am for all ages. You will be glad that you came. 

 On Sunday nights we have our Bible study with our pastor in our fellowship hall for all adults. On Sunday nights we also have youth Bible study and activities. On scheduled Sunday nights we have special activities such as our church-wide ministry conference or other events. On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm we have Adult Prayer Meeting and Bible Study and Youth Fellowship Bible Study. In addition, during the school year we have Church Fellowship Dinner in our Fellowship Hall at 5:30 pm and at 6:30 pm we have KZ Kraze for children, which is kid's zone children's Bible club, similar to Awanas but better! We all need that mid-week boost of the Spirit! Excellent child care is provided for all church activities.   

Calvary is located at 125 North Jefferson Street at the corner of Jefferson and Walcott, just north of City Hall and the historic town square in downtown Pilot Point. For easy directions to our church, click on the icon to the left entitled "Directions."
