The Lord Jesus provides His followers many ways to spiritually grow and mature. The Lord speaks to us through His Word, the Bible, to direct us and help us to grow. Like an apple tree, the Lord desires that we grow to become very strong, deeply rooted and bear His fruit (John 15:1-5).

All Christians should become so familiar with the above evidences that you can prove to any skeptic that the Bible is true, Jesus is God and Jesus is the only way to heaven.
There are several steps the Lord provides to help us grow as Christians. Become familiar with each step then proceed to the next step:
1. Be 100% sure you are a Christian, a born again child of God.

3. It is important to pray and read your Bible every day. Jesus said that the most important commandment is to love the Lord your God with all of your heart, mind, soul and strength (Matthew 22:34-40). Jesus desires to be your first Love, closest Companion and very best Friend. Jesus wants you to become so familiar with His Words that you can speak them and live them as your own, as who you are in Him (John 15:7-14;1 Peter 4:11; 2 Timothy 2:15).
It is important to purchase a Bible you can easily understand such as the New King James Version or The New Living Translation. You can also find these and other translations by clicking on:

4. It is important to obey God and regularly attend a Christian, Bible believing, conservative, evangelical church every Sunday and Wednesday. Regular church attendance helps you grow as you hear God's Word taught in a Bible study and preached from the pulpit (Hebrews 10:25). Fellowship with other Christians helps strengthen your commitment to Christ and grow closer to other believers as your Christian family (1 John 1:3,7). Regular church attendance helps you discover and effectively use your spiritual gift(s) (Romans 12:1-8).
It is important to discover your spiritual gift(s). Click on:

After you become close to Jesus as your first Love, well acquainted with the teachings of Jesus from the Bible and spiritually strong and effective in using your spiritual gift(s), the Lord may lead you to disciple one or more less mature Christians.
5. Acknowledge Jesus publicly. Jesus said, "Everyone who acknowledges Me publicly here on earth, I will acknowledge before My Father in heaven. But everyone who denies Me here on earth, I will also deny before My Father in heaven." (NLT) Jesus is saying that true, born again Christians will not be ashamed to say they are Christians. Jesus wants you to share with everyone you know that you are a Christian.
Jesus commanded us to share with unbelievers His good news regularly, as we go (Matthew 28:18-20). This can be done in a variety of ways. Share how Jesus has changed your life (this is called your "personal testimony"). Tell skeptics the evidence we have that the Bible is true, Jesus is God and Jesus is the only way to heaven. Give others a Christian tract that explains how they can know Jesus as Savior, Lord God and Friend. Show others a DVD that presents the gospel (such as "The Stranger Series" or "The Jesus DVD"). Write a letter, send an email, send a text or make a phone call. Make a visit to an unbeliever you know who is in the hospital or at their home. Jesus can use any means to plant His seed in their hearts that will grow and bring salvation. We must be faithful. The Spirit of Jesus in the Christian actually lives through the Christian to persuade the unbeliever to come to Him and He will offer them His free gift of eternal life through you (Matthew 10:19-20). The more often you share your faith, the more effective you will become in freeing the Spirit of Jesus to give you His Words to say. It is the most awesome feeling in life to experience the Almighty God of the universe using you to bring a life to Him! Don't miss that incredible blessing!
