Evangelist Will Graham, the grandson of the great evangelist Billy Graham, will be preaching the Celebration Event March 16-18. The region-wide training opportunities for effective outreach and discipleship will take place in February before the Celebration Event. The following are the dates and times our church will be involved. You may come to as many of these events as you are able. If you plan to ride with the church to an event, please contact the church office. If you cannot come...please pray that many Christians will be trained to be effective counselors and mentors and that many lives will come closer to our Lord Jesus.

NOTE: There is no cost involved to participate in these events. Please call the church office if you plan to ride with the church on Saturday mornings for the adult discipleship events in order that we can plan ahead which church vehicle(s) we need to take. On Saturday, we will eat together at 12 noon at the Gainesville Pie Factory Restaurant and return to the church around 1:30 pm. You may bring a brownbag lunch if you wish. Our entire youth group will participate in the youth training and discipleship events every Wednesday. Some church members are attending the discipleship classes on Tuesday nights. If you would like to carpool on Tuesday night call our church office. Don't forget to...

Drive and Dive ! ! !

We continue to encourage all of our church members to take a church brochure and a "Know Jesus!" tract and drive around your neighborhood looking for people in their front yard or garage. When you see someone, pull your vehicle over to the curb, dive out of your car, introduce yourself and invite them to our church. If you get the chance, ask them how you can pray for them and even win them to Jesus! The very best times to do this is 6 pm to 8 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 8 pm Saturday...but anytime is right! Just dive whenever you drive! This can be called "driving with purpose," "diving with Jesus" or "evangelistic motoring." This outreach method has been very effective as we have had very positive responses, many new visitors and members to our church. 

If you are unable to Drive and Dive due to health reasons, please pray for those who can Drive and Dive .  Please pray believing that we will win many to Jesus, many will become faithful members of our church and faithful servants of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Loss Recovery Group

We meet the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in our fellowship hall. This group is for all persons of all faiths who have suffered loss of any kind: loss of relationship due to anger issues, separation, divorce or death; loss of job and/or income, loss of possessions due to accident, theft or fire; and/or any type of loss in which you grieve or have difficulty accepting or coping with. You may wish to come share or just listen. All who have participated in this group in the past have benefited from the input of others and/or by sharing their thoughts, experiences and emotions. You may come alone or bring a friend. Pastor Philip Riegel will facilitate the group. Pastor Philip is also available for individual grief pastoral counseling.

Please call 940-686-2274 to enroll. There is no charge for your participation in a group. Note: The Loss Recovery Group will not meet unless four or more persons call the church office with intentions to participate. When you call the church office, please leave your name and phone number and the pastor will contact you.
