23. Question: Will we be with our pets again in heaven?

Answer: The Bible is silent on this issue. The Bible does state that "the wolf and the lamb shall feed together" in heaven (Isaiah 65:25). The Bible also states that horses will be used in heaven (Rev.6:1-2;9:16;19:14). Most conservative commentators believe that heaven will be similar to but much better than the Garden of Eden on earth before sin and the enemy changed everything. There were animals in the Garden of Eden. Many believe that Adam and Eve enjoyed the animals like pets. The Bible also tells us that every good thing we have and experience on earth is a Love gift from the Lord (James 1:17). Therefore, pets we grow to Love are gifts from the Lord to us. It is my personal belief, based on the above Biblical principles, that our pets we had on earth will be with us again in heaven forever and we will enjoy them in heaven even more than we enjoyed them on earth.
